I start phasing them out at 2-3 weeks to the bigger chick brooder. by 5-6 weeks i aim to have them in the growout pen with the bantams

do you find they can handle the winter temps by 5 weeks?, I need to do same thing to move everyone up one stop....

My bantam pen has heat in it already so thats what ill be using to grow out all winter long.

When you say it is heated, do you mean it has heat lamps or is the whole pen heated?

Heat lamps, just in the bantam part tho. It does raise the overall temp in the coop a few degrees tho

#1 of the 11/7 set has hatched

2nd is pipped and zipping. could be one from 11/6 set but i cant see the date on the egg atm
