Day 10 for me and I've got nothing. None even started. Well. More eggs on the way, anyone setting eggs later this week or next week??

Silverduck...i am now setting about Nov 7th hopefully, didnt plan it ...impulse addicted buy...guuuh
Lavender EEs.I love the lavender colors and to have colored eggs will be new to me.. BUT...

OK, i just candled my eggs again. Of the 13 good eggs I had on Day 9, It is now Day 15 and I still had 12 good ones. One went dark, but the rest all have little shadow puppets inside that didn't like the bright light at all LOL.
So, if all stays well, I should have a dozen little peeps on Election Eve.
Then, pack away the 'bator until April.

WELL of course I jinxed myself by talking about an uneventful hatch. I didn't know that hubby hadn't switched the house to heat so last night the house got really cold and the incubator couldn't keep up. My temps dipped. I'm not sure how bad but not below 86. I am going to just keep going hoping all it did was maybe slow their growth. I think I had a few quitters anyway before the temp dip. They are supposed to hatch Sunday night which means I'll have to ride it out til Tuesday but I know it is going to freak me out if they aren't popping out Sunday night. I won't be able to sleep

Miss Goldie is one of my older hens and she is a sweetheart. She is one of a very few that I can catch and cuddle with almost anywhere. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her and the ones she is trying to hatch now. I wouldn't mind having 20 just like her!

One day i am getting Seramas.They are so VERY cute and pretty. I saw a few tonite on Ebay i wanted so much AAAHHH but .....just not in the cards right now.No room to put tinies and too cold to be out..Too many dogs and cats inside.ONE DAY....And good luck on the hatch..

well day day 20 is here still have 11 araucana and 1 bantum x going strong in lock down.fingers crossed for good hatch day 21 starts at 10 pm tonight so i hope to wake up to 12 little cherpers and then in 9 days i have a few isa eggs due that my wife insisted on puting in the bator a bit late so i will see how they look when i take the newly hatched chicks out of the bator.

LOCKDOWN! later today. I already turned off the automatic turner, added water to humidity trays and put the egg cups in to warm up.
Will remove autoturner later today and place eggs in egg cups for hatch.
Going to Frederick show tomorrow so that will keep me occupied and away from the 'bator so Nature can take it's course.
Will fire up the brooder tomorrow, but since this is the last hatch for '12 I might leave them in an extra day.
