I'm setting my last set on the 17th. More mutts, some jersey giants and some rir's for sure. Thinking I'll get a couple dozen off my neighbors too. They have mostly white leghorns and some assorted roosters. Should be a fun end of the year hatch.

Im setting eggs tonight! Will know how many after the hens lay today. Have 16 saved already... I have a batch in one incubator already thats on day 6...
The eggs are from my Barred Rocks, 5 hens n Rocky the roo.. lol. Im using an old Hova Bator that my parents had years ago..

You do have eggs going every place!
I dont think i could keep up with them all and are you hand turning them all?I will have to be careful when my roo gets big enough i will be tempted to put every egg in the bator.haha

oh gawd lets see about 100 would be my best guess, not counting whats going in the box this week.

Thats a goodly number.must have kept you a busy guy this yearI just had 8 settings and got about 25 chicks total ..some were sold though. This one will be hatch# 9. Hope i do better with these bbs orps last ones i got just one chick.

Had gotten 150 chicks just last month from the hatchery too lol. sold /traded /culled my way down to about 50 from that batch
