OK THANK YOU So much... I have made a Semi rock solid fenced in area and I think that It has kept most of them in (same fence but I just tied it all up with some Floral wire (handy stuff BTW)) I have one weak point in my fence though.... well 3 actually... The thing with the fence that makes it hard to work on is that I have thorns all around the enclosure (including the ever popular crab apple tree with thorns as long as a hen's beak and twice as sharp) so it makes it hard to try to work on... I have cut down ALOT of thorn bushes (much to my parent's chagrin as evidentially the chickens have no other place to go except the thorns...my parents the chicken Experts

riiight...) anyways there are either thorn bushes, ruble, or my lack of real help standing in the way of an escape proof fence (although I do forget where some needed things get put...) so every time I work on the fence it's always Step 1:

Thanks to all for the help with the Feather clipping problem

and also thanks for the others that tried to help but didn't really solve the problem... (I just cant get a ladder to were I need to get it to put a top on the run for those of you who have suggested that)

@Scottingitup AMEN! same thing with my chickens... I wish that I had a little help in making their enclosure more escape proof...
