Before we shoveled a path to them. We're at 30+inches here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. Orps in the little house, a mix of RIR's and RSL's in the large house.

We are going to get rain tonight.

I have two boys in a car coming home from Flagstaff. It will be a long night until they get home... safe.

We are short on snow this year, but are still a bit buried.
The coop is in the background, next to the big shed. Don't you just love the temporary "awning".
My hubby says it realy helps us look like Alaskan's, LOL!

M - Hopefully they're on the freeway? I used to make the Oak Creek Canyon trip pretty frequently between my folks in Sedona and NAU in Flag.... that road is something else...

Here's our A-frame tractor this afternoon. We have about 14" now. When we had the first big snow on Dec. 19 (24") I covered the run with a blue tarp after a few inches had already fallen inside. Between the snow and the dark tarp the girls refused to come out of the henhouse for a full day and a half. This time I used a clear, heavyweight plastic drop cloth and covered the run before the snow began. They're happy as can be in there, with nice dry ground and a translucent "window" letting in some light.
