My chickens LOVE me, I'm just too cheap to buy mealworms. They get all kinds of treats though fruit, bread, meats etc.

Just recently my dad rescued a load of ex battery hens. They look terrible at the moment but I'm looking after them and hopefully they'll recover nicely.

Yeah, mine get tons of table scraps, and whatever Bess bugs I can find. Also, we have meal worms that live in our yard that they eat.
