EEs roost in your trees and refuse to head into the nicely guarded coop at night unless prompted (yeeted). That being said, I love their personalities.

I have a Welsummer cockerel you may have. It would save him from dinner—from us anyway. He’s called Darwin for a reason and it’s not a good reason.

I always wanted a Phoenix, but I’m happy with a future full of Cochins.

:lau Oh wow-

So, the different kinds I narrowed it down to are: Barnevelder, Barred Rock, one of the assorted long tails (silver phoenixes, black sumatras, red shoulder yokohamas, and more), Welsummer, or and Easter or Olive Egger. I can't decide!

First, whay are cochins not on that list??
Second, I would go with either the Barnevelders, Phoenixes, or EEs.

Anyone wanna help me decide what breed of chicken to get? I can't decide between three or four kinds rn :th

Skip them all. Go with Ameraucanas and cochins (bantam if you prefer). But if you must choose one from your list I vote EE/OE.
