I love that I don’t like the super super to the skin almost type coats I’ve seen. I like them a little longer or even, *gasp* a doodle look

Not a doodle fan, they are cute, not my thing though.. I've met too many that where quite literally out of their minds.

the doodle look usually includes a beard, YUCK I will not have a dog tracking food and water all over the place via its beard.

I've seen poodles shaved down the same all the way through the coat.. they look.. not like poodles.

I like mine to have some floof

Except for the obviously shaved areas, my spouse hand scissored the rest. She was amazing on the table. I miss her.

I'm not positive if this is right- but I'm learning a bit about breeding chickens right now and I'm assuming that if I breed my SL English Orp with a Jungle Fowl hen ( or any other breed) - then the first gen chickens will have poor lacing, so I take the first gen chickens and breed them together - making a second gen - then I breed the second gen pullets back to the SL English Orpington? Will this bring the lacing full circle? I can make a thread on this if it's clogging up space here ty for any info in advance

@ColtHandorf may be of service. Is there something you want to accomplish with that crossing? What makes you want to cross those to breeds? Personally I would have never have thought too. Is it just an experiment?

she sounds like an awesome dog

She was a brat! She was my Doodle-bug, but after an unavoidable incident with our permanent dog at the time, she had to find a new home. She was happy with her new family—and that’s what counts.
