I got this new chicken harness for my birthday and today tried to put it on a few of my girls. They hated it. They wriggled and squirmed. They did not want it on. I finally got it on Liv and she was furious. She kept trying to squirm out and when she tucked her head like that it looked like it hurt. I kept wincing and felt bed. I attached her to the leach but she didn't want to come. I eventually grabbed the harness and she shimmied out. That was bad but what I didn't know was when I was trying to pull her out of the run I left the door open. Everyone scampered out and I had that to deal with now. I was out there for about an hour trying to put the harness on and chicken wrangling. I will try again tomorrow and tell y'all how it goes but today was a big dud.

I didn’t do much. Just added more hay to my girls egg box, and filled up feeders and waterers. Not sure how long it too, but I was outside for a few hours.

It takes me about 45 minutes to an hour filling up food and water each day. Then I had to feed and water the chicks and horse which doesn’t take too long, maybe 20 minutes.

may i ask why the drake's coop took much logner than the duck/chicken coop?

Because they are so messy and I keep the chicken coop very clean and I waited an extra day or two to clean the drakes pen

Chicken Run: Scream like a banshee at a hawk and then bring in a pullet to tend to
Time Taken: Screaming: Ten seconds. Tending pullet and her healing: An hour or so, plus a few days for healing.
