so do it its simple, get the darn shovel, the bedding, alla that, and clean or the hens will hate you

The chickens aren’t gonna hate someone for not. They don’t know. They might get sick or something so should definitely be clean but they don’t have people or connect you’re the one that does or doesn’t do it LOL

1-2x per year

Cleaning a coop requires daily, weekly and yearly maintenance. Every night, you must dispose of any leftover food and water. Once a week, dispose of the old droppings and replace the bedding with fresh good quality material. 1-2x per year you will need to conduct a thorough deep clean

And I literally need to come on here sometimes or I’ll literally kill myself. I’m not okay. Y’all are my best friends, and when I’m with y’all it’s like everything is okay again. I’ve come close a few times. Abd my parents don’t believe I need a therapist

And there’s no right or wrong way to clean a coop. Unless you like never clean it and they’re living on filth.

Usually I add fresh shavings on top and stir it up a bit when it starts getting too poopy or looks like there’s not enough shavings in there (they kick a lot out) and then fully clean every so often but with refreshing it and less chickens in there, it doesn’t need as much.
