I doubt it. I’m not a fish expert, but the number of kids and people I’ve seen keeping a fish in a bowl with JUST water makes me think fish are tougher than you’d expect.

I think she'll be fine until you can get a new tank. Getting her into something bigger would be ideal though...

I think she will be okay for a while with out them, my fish never had one.

Would he let you put her in a clean 5 gallon bucket, if you have one?

She'll be fine until you get her in a new tank with a filter and heater. Just put her up where she can't be spilled and focus on getting her a new setup.

All of ours are gross from being used outside.. He's not a fan of using things not made for animals with the animals.. I wont even bring it up he'll just scream at me.. it is what it is for now.
