I will admit I used to hardly ever drink water...but due to health issues, I need to drink a lot of water, so now I have my big water bottle and consume a loooot more!I don't drink that much in a week!
DO you want to get sick? Because that's how you get sick. lolI might have sat on a rock in the rain in the dark for hours for no. reason lol.
My Bourbon Red and Blue Slate hens have beards. I would not say only Bronze toms are bearded whether they are hatchery quality or not.I do have a bearded female. But hatchery bronze turkeys females will not have beards.

Yes, he does it all the time.r2elk
Hi DAB!Yes, he does it all the time.
Genetics are natural? So I'm not sure what you're really asking there, but 10-20% of female turkeys will develop beards. According to limited research it's likely genetic (a mutation) but there's no concrete evidence either way. I suppose it would be rather silly for a scientific laboratory to devote time, energy, and resources into figuring out why they have them. They aren't even sure why turkeys have beards at all, but they think it might help influence mate selection by the hens. Some birds even have multiple beards.Hey Colt, do you know what causes hens to have beards too? Is it just natural or genetics?
