Been off work to long. Don't want to go back.
Picking up a load of pharmaceuticals in Mississippi and taking them to California.

I hate TSC. The chicks are exposed to a lot of people so they have higher chances of sickness. They mix up chicks and the birds are horrible quality.

Yes, I do understand that some beautiful chickens come from TSC, but at least how they are treated when they are young...

The employees (at least at my store) don’t ever answer my questions correctly either. And sometimes aren’t the kindest.

I would much rather buy from my local, small feed store where most of the employees are actually chicken keepers, and they treat the chicken well.

I had to stop going to my local feed store a few weeks ago. The owner of the store keeps his chickens there behind the store, and there were multiple dead adult chickens, as well as many chicks. It was so sad.

And most of them looked like they starved to death. Regardless of how they died, I can’t risk mine getting some disease.

She has 7 or 8 eggs, I think. It looks like all are developing, but I’m going to candle again tonight.

Just a quick up date on Miko. She is recovering nicely. She is very tired but she has a good appetite. She goes back for a check up on the 17th..

Enjoying this book... very interesting and has a lot of good information on poultry breeds. Only about 15% of the way through though.
