Mochi went broody a while ago, so we put her in the broody cage. It's been a week since we put her in there, and she's still broody! That chicken has some serious dedication! She also (for a while) kept laying eggs so she could go broody on them.

I thought it usually only took a few days to break a broody?

For mine it takes a while. Then they break, lay a single egg, then go broody again.
