I call my dad Pabo. When I was a baby, I couldn't say Papa, I said Pabo. My dad thought it was cute, so he encouraged it. I never stopped calling him that.

Its kind of interesting... my sister was taking Japanese and tried to teach my dad "otosan" which is dad in Japanese, but he didnt pronounce it right. He ended up just chanting "I am the oto-san I oto oto all day long!" Now we just call him oto.
