Yep, I learned about it from someone else on BYC, and I've been interested in it ever since. Especially because I am also really into rockhounding. Yeah, it's really fun and relaxing. Takes AGES though, just to get a tiny stone. Makes you really appreciate all the polished stones in stores, and why they cost so much.
So do you have like a "rock collection" now?
Yep, I have tons of rocks. I also have a rock tumbler, so I tumble a lot of the quartz and other awesome stones and such which I find along the shoreline.
So how often do you do this?

Well, I usually always have rocks in the tumbler. It takes 8ish weeks bout for the rocks to go from just from the ground to fully polished. I have like multiple 5 gallon buckets full of rocks I'd like to tumble, and only a tiny tumbler.
