Is there anything else our of the ordinary that's going on? I remember I fixed a limping hens bumblefoot but she was still having problems, Then I saw that her leg had turned green at the top and was completely confused, I had no idea what was going on, went to the injuries forum and surprise surprise she had a broken leg -_-
It's been like six months of her limping. Other than that she appears to be fine. I've checked her legs/feet/toes and see nothing. The bantam cochin started doing it a couple of months afterward but I think that was due to an overzealous English Orpington cockerel climbing over the two-foot fence and stepped on her.

That is confusing. I have absolutley no idea of what it could be but if you haven't already you should upload the problem to an injury forum and see if the rest of the internet can figure it out

I wash the foot, peel off the bumble, squeeze out any pus, soak in weak tea colored diluted iodine for ten minutes, fill with anti bacterial ointment, and wrap. Then repeat daily.
So you've completely removed the eschar and it keeps coming back??? The treatment you're giving is the most thorough I've ever heard of, if it's still coming back after doing that every day then it must be an indestructible bumble or something

Yep. I've treated bumble many times, and usually don't have a problem after treatment. This girl just seems especially prone.

I had an older hen do something similar and it turned out to be arthritis so it might be that

This is what it looked like before I cut and polished it.

Oh! That’s so cool! My older sister has a rock tumbler and she’s tumbled some really pretty ones!
I've been dying for some Nigerian Dwarf goats.
Oh my goodness, they are sooo cute! I want them too!

When I live on more land, I also really want Valais black nose sheep. They look like stuffed animals!

I’m hoping to be a vet tech because I love animals so much. :)

Also... I’m starting horse back riding lessons next week! :wee
So excited! I love horses!

And.... I’m getting my very own bedroom for the first time!!! I’ve always shared with Star.
