@EmmaRainboe …I’m feeling exhausted just reading this!
 
Me: Lets out the chickens.
Eclipse: Come running down in his usual adorable, yet vicious self.
Me: "Good morning, Eclipse."
Eclipse: Stares at me in acknowledgment, then runs off to flirt with 'his' girls.
Me: Hears squabbling, walks over to see what's going on.
Eclipse: Stands there, looking dejected, with Mochi's feathers clenched in his beak.
Me: "Eclipe, how many times have I been over this? If you want the hens to like you, you need to be nice to them...not pulling out their feathers!"
Eclipse: Stares at me solemnly, as if in understanding, then quickly swallows the feathers to hide the evidence of the crime scene.
Me: "Ecli-"
Eclipse: Marches off, then returns with more feathers in his beak.
Me: 😒
Eclipse: Jumps into my arms, drops the feathers in my hand and snuggles up against my chest, falling asleep.
Me: 🥰

That chicken sure knows how to win over my heart, no matter how many times I try to be stern with him! It's impossible not to forgive him when he's being so cute! :lol:
