Poor Arietty (one of the chickens) got her comb beat up. I had quite the scare checking all the chickens over after I found that in the nest box

Poor Arietty (one of the chickens) got her comb beat up. I had quite the scare checking all the chickens over after I found that in the nest box

Oh I bet. What time my rooster ripped one of the Spurs off and I went into the chicken coop and there was blood everywhere. I had a heart attack until I Counted all chickens, everyone was there, and saw his foot was all bloody.

Yeah... I did a head count, but it was dark and I couldn’t tell in the coop. So I took all 15 out of the coop (I wasn’t worried about Pebbles and her chicks) and did a vent check (because I was worried about reproductive issues such as a prolapse) and their combs. Arietty of course was the last one I checked.

I also just tried dark chocolate m&ms for the first time. They were fine, but didn’t taste much different from the normal ones.
