Probably the vacuum.Either a vacuum got ahold of them, or they went for a haircut.
I don’t have any of that, so I guess he’ll just have to remain baldHe needs to put DE on his head. It’s a magical baldness curer

Nope, no name for the quail. I wasn’t attached to it at all, so wasn’t super hard emotionally, but still sucks. I hate when animals die.Wow. People were chatty while I was gone today!
I’m so sorry for your loss, Emma. Did the quail have a name?
Also, Emma, I’m sorry that you now have a buff Orpington-maybe you can follow this recipe:
In a large bucket, mix 2 gallons ACV with 4 cups diatomaceous earth, 2 tablespoons crushed garlic, and a quarter cup of diced oregano. Pour the mixture over the affected buff hen. The wonderful healing properties of this mix will fix those feathers quickly. Repeat twice a day, and after the first year of that, add it to the water to make sure your hen stays the desired color. Otherwise, she could revert back to the buff horror of previous times. The reason this works is that these ingredients are 100% scientifically proven to cure all ails!
(This is a joke, for people who don’t know. While I’m not a huge fan of buffs, I certainly would not torture any creature with this treatment!)
Have a good night, everyone! Time for Lemon to get some sleep.

And thanks for the recipe! I’ll try that tomorrow![]()
