I joined BYC to learn more about ducks after a pair of wild mallards started visiting my house every spring. Eventually I was able to feed them from my hand, and they'd follow me around. I even had a little kiddy pool for them.
When I joined here, I became interested in chickens (especially BCs) and I just ended up getting them first.

I would love to get some calls and Mandarins in the future though.
