I’ve had a CAT scan twice, but never an MRI. All I’ve heard is - “Don’t panic, it’s loud, don’t move, and it takes like an hour”

Oh wow! I didn't realise they took so long. I don't know if I could not move for an hour

Yeah. CAT scans are usually only a few minutes, while MRIs can be anywhere between 15 and 90 minutes. They said mine will be 45min to an hour.

Been a long time since I've had one. Ya it was at least a hour.
I've heard they have open sided ones or something like that now. Mine was back in the day when they laid you down and shoved you into the machine.
Not so different then like at the morgue when they put you on a tray and shove you into the wall.
Not claustrophobic are you? That's the only thing they said could be an issue when I had mine.
