Did an experiment in Biology class

We were talking about variables, and one of the examples was about dropping calls, and how wrapping a phone in tinfoil would help calls to NOT drop. I looked it up, and the opposite was true according to Google. So, we tested it out. 1 of my classmates called another classmate, and it worked (without the foil). Then they did it with one phone wrapped in the foil. The call couldn't connect.
This is because aluminum foil blocks all cell receptors. So if your phone is wrapped in foil, then you can't be GPS tracked, receive calls, or anything like that.
