Also, I already shared this with some people in a PM, but another thing happened at winter camp. I'm very accident prone. What happened was I slipped and hit my head pretty bad.
I actually don’t remember any of it - but according to my leaders, long story short, I slipped on ice, fell, hit my head, then was able to get back to my cabin, but there I passed out/was unconscious and unresponsive for 15 minutes (my leader had to hold my head up and stop me from sliding out of the chair). I was supposedly breathing weird, then stopped breathing all together but not for too long, then I guess I coughed/spluttered and became semi-conscious but not “really there”. I guess I wasn’t answering their questions right, staring off, and delayed responses. (my pastor asked me a lot of questions, apparently one of them being if I had panic attacks and I said “uhh… no”

. He told me I had told him that I had one just a few hours ago.) I don’t remember ANY of this but my leader updated me.
Anyway, with me still being out of it, the odd breathing (and lack of it), they called 911. It was really icy though so they had drive one of my other leader’s SUVs down, load me up, and drive me up the hill to the ambulance. The ambulance checked me out, but by that time my vitals had stabilized and I was still acting off but more normal. Also the nearest hospital was 40 minutes away and likely not equipped to take care of something like this. I can remember bits and pieces from that point on. They let me go back to my cabin, though didn’t let me sign the refusal forms and made my pastor sign them. I remember him saying, “I never thought I’d be in the back of an ambulance with you”

I went to sleep and woke up alright the next morning/later (‘cause it wasn’t until 2am that I got back to my cabin). I couldn’t remember much from the night before still, I had a headache, and as the day went on I realized I was forgetting a lot of stuff.
Needless to say, they’re pretty sure I have another concussion
