I hate to say this, but when my husband and I get an unwanted roo, we just keep him until he is big enough to process for a nice meal. It's too hard to rehome, and their is no use in letting his life go to waste

You don't have to hate to say it. It's always what we've done with roosters we didn't need. At least by eating them, they're being put to good use.
