How can u get chickens to come back to the coop and they not roost in trees

I feed them in the coop in the evenings and close them up. Any tree dwellers get removed from trees and put in the coop. After a few days of this, they usually get the message and go in by themselves.

We used to have this problem, every evening we had to pluck them from the trees around the coop, and sometimes one would get really high up a tree. We finally kept them confined in their coop for a full week (ignoring their protests), and have not have a single one roost outside the coop ever since.

Ok I am having tpsometrouble with coons and minks trying to catch the mink but unsure what to do
