Usually Shad's thread does have one picture he takes each day. I don't think it's that different from what he does.

It isn't a bad idea though.

This is such a great idea! I'd love to join. One of my 2026 goals is to document and remember more of everyday life, so this fits right in.

I have posted a picture, or rather a few, every day for the past four years, bar those days when I've been too sick to get to the field, say 360 days out of 365. Even on those days I've posted pictures that whoever did the chickens for me have taken.
By Bob who got me started on the project, including the tax system has done much the same.

It is a good idea, but it's not a new idea. I think you'll have trouble getting most people to post daily. It's a massive commitment.

Thanks. I understand the concept but it just seems to be the "official" version of what a lost of members here are doing anyway. Not a bad idea to add a new section to corral it.

I don't recall anyone saying it has to be chickens.
