To Nupine Yes the cages are wire bottoms For the combs they are pale becaue they are older birds that were spent and we bought them. For being dirty. they are just about as dirty as a back yard chicken. For beign on top of eachother i dont know what exaclty you mean. there is two ways that can go. How they get water: they have automatic waters also know as nipples. the old version was cups which got everything messy and the chickens wet. The feed is all custom made. They take samples form the chicken manure and make it custom. Yes they can stand and walk They were in cages build to fit 9 and now only have 5 aproximatley: For contract we actually own our own chickens and eggs but sell them through a dealer but we can do what we want so no contracts. For my chicken (cage free) they have bellwaters. there feed is just regular feed for now but i can get mine custom too. O and very few of us actually own our own chickens the big million chicken farms are usually on contracts.
