Go check out her site! She has pictures of some of her birds. I am pretty sure she doesn't use the battery system. I think she does do the free-range and cage free. She has a really good site, I didn't understand how she kept her birds until I saw the site.

650 with over 3 square feet the rest are caged because we at this time cant affort to move to all cage free. Maybe when i take over. I got plans for the place

I can also tell you one more thing we make sure our chickens have all the stuff to regrow there feathers and leave our place in better shape than they arrived.

But she has 3 chicken houses with 60,000 so that would be 'commercial cage free' (20,0000 in each couse)which is the same consitions broiler birds are kept in.
She also has 650 of her 'own', not sure what these are, cage free I am sure but what housing conditions. The pix on the site are not of 650 (or 20,000) free ranging or cage free birds.

Yes but I have to point out would you rather these chickens dead or alive and actually getting better? The 60,000 chickens are actually in a house that can hold aroudn 100,000 chickens but becasue we care we reduce and give them more space than many others woudl ever do.

Arg, I cannot stand animal rights groups! I wander if they know that their folks most likely lived off the land and used it for its REAL purpose, not to litter it with CONCRETE,and FILTH!

Id like to tell every animal rights activist that every meal i eat consist of either Cow,Chicken,turkey,deer, or buffalo! Thank God we have meat, i think even the FDA says its unhealthy to go without meat!! you would think that the ARA would agree with that since everything thats politicly correct has got to be right.(sarcasm)

If a man wants to make his living off of something he enjoys, (chickens) then let it be!!

Although, i do believe that you just cant treat a chicken to finest health when raising thousands.or millions and there is going to be health problems.and stuff like that, its expected.But i got nothing against them, they feed alot of people, last off, animals are for our use.Food or pets.

Im not completly insinsitive to animals, i could not eat my own pet..and my folks and people i know make fun of me for that.
