Somebody suggested oatmeal as a source of vitamins (maybe in my other thread - I also posted this under diseases and emergencies). I'll leave it out then, thanks. And yeah, I guess there's no way to know if she had any blunt head trauma from something. Visibly there's nothing wrong with her head or neck - no blood or bruising, no reaction when I feel around, and she's moving her head and neck just fine otherwise. There's nothing hanging in their space that could've fallen on her, but she could've bonked her head some other way.

I had a pullet develop wry neck, so entirely possible that some just need more vitamins than others (my bird had a myriad of other health issues so it was just another thing to deal with).

I would go ahead and treat her for wry neck for a few weeks, to hopefully ensure it doesn't worsen. I would isolate her for a private breakfast with a few drop of liquid vit E mixed into wet feed, daily, and either a bit of tuna, egg or sunflower seeds for selenium as well, every couple of days.

Do you think using NutriDrench is enough, or should I look for vitamin E separately? Or one of the other “vitamins and electrolytes” supplements like what they sell at Tractor Supply?

The vitamin e content of the nutri drench is fairly low. I would supplement the vitamin e on it's own. Glad she's feeling better!

Thanks! Where can I find just vitamin E on its own? I looked on the TS website and in google, and only find vitamin E for large animals, everything for poultry seems to be in a genera mix of "vitamins and minerals". The only thing I could find was a caged bird vitamin E on Amazon - would that do it?

You can buy vitamin E in the little caplets that are meant for people. Just cut it open and squeeze it out onto a bit of her favorite food. She should eat it fine . I did this with one that was having issues. I actually put it on a bit of meal worms and she scarfed it down.

Yep! You can use the ones for people. I just pop the whole pill in their beak

How would I dose it though? I read that overdosing can cause some pretty serious issues in chickens...

This is a very helpful link. Seems like anywhere from 100-300 mg per kg is just fine
