I am wracking the internet trying to find a quality probiotic to give to my chicks after they arrive and wonder if anyone has done this research? I would like to get a good bang for buck- ie lots of cfus for the money but also a reputible supplier that preferably uses GMPs. I dont see this anywhere...best i can find is Aviculture's. Any input? Thanks!!

I use baby parrot food, found in the pet store in 1# or 5# containers. They think it's candy! It's a complete feed with added nutrients and probiotics.

You can sprinkle it on dry or mix it into a paste, and it's good to have on hand when they are ill and need to be fed, whether grown or small.

I use it occasionally to manage mucky bums if the chicks get persistent pasty-butt. Feeding it once in a while seems to keep them extra-healthy.
