Common Birds of Prey That Cause Issues

I see a lot of action involving raptors owing nature of work and play. Seeing here is exceptional plus the birds are habituated to humans. I seldom see more than one Northern Harrier at a time and they get displaced by Red-tailed Hawks where are particularly abundant at same time Harriers arfe present.

Yes, Eastern and Western Meadowlark. Only one appears to breed here. Will not be long before Bobolinks go through. Timberdoodles already present, but having difficult time with cold snap.
I commend you for your dedicated observation. Nature sure beats television by a long shot. Very interesting information about local Harriers.....make a trip our way, and you'll be likely to see several at once. :)

Jealous beyond words. Bobolinks are on my most-wanted list.

Since you requested pictures awhile back, I snapped a few (terrible shots) yesterday during a successful Lake Erie birding trip. This (Northern Harrier) is exactly what we spot on our property, and the general vicinity. She was attempting desperately to earn her well-deserved dinner.
