My RIR,who was purchased at a tractor supply, has silky feathers throughout her/his body. I haven’t really seen other RIR with silky like feathers all over. The only silky feathers on our one year old RIR rooster are just his hackle and saddle feathers so I’m a bit confused by this 17week old. I have always been given mixed reviews on whether it’s a he or she. Just curious if this is common for RIR.
