I ma happy he is free now, i asked my neighbor if he will release it back where it was found. He happily took the bird to its home. Hope he finds his siblings there.Yeah, lapwings and sandpipers feed on bugs and crustaceans, though there are a few that are omnivorous to some extent, taking seeds and shoots as well as invertebrates, but majority are carnivores. As for the Andalusian Buttons, they inhabit warm grasslands or scrub jungles and feed on insects and seeds, though primarily on insects.
