Does anyone have a way to provide water to everyone that the ducks don't make into sludge??

I've tried buckets poultry waterers tubs etc. But within 5 min the ducks have slimed it so everyone is stuck drinking mud. The ducks drink out of their pool which they somehow manage to keep clean but I don't think the chickens do- I always see them drinking from the filthy tub. I put a small waterer on the second story of the coop but I don't think it ever gets used.

So it needs to be something out in the open-quick access. They free range and don't seem to want to go out of their way for a drink

The only thing I know of is nipple waterers.

That will give the chickens clean water, but the ducks must have at least buckets so they can dunk their heads.

I have never tried the waterer cups with ducks but have heard that they work, even with their big bills.
