Companion for my duck

Ducks don't really care about breed, so that part of it shouldn't be an issue. The issue may come with having only one female for your male. Some ducks do really well in pairs, but other times males need more than one female or he will end up overmating her and stressing her out, and even possibly injuring her. So if you do decide to get a female, just be aware that it's possible you're going to need to end up getting one or two more females if it doesn't work out keeping them as a pair.

Alternatively, you could find another drake to keep with your drake. Bachelor pairs of drakes usually do well together.

That's what I'll do then. :) now that I think of it, we don't eat duck eggs anyway. So having a female is pointless. Thank you!!
