We actually have one here and I love that feed and that store so much!! But now that I have the cockerels and quail I wasn’t sure if they could eat it ? I used to feed the Egg Production Plus from them though and it’s amazing!! Maybe I’ll have to get rid of all of the boys and go back to it that particular store also has a Blue Seal MultiFlock crumble which I love and it’s more protein than Purina Flockraiser and way less dusty. But they close so early that TSC is easier sometimes but a family friend runs the other store so I might have to start going back to it! Cause I really do like that store way better than TSC.

If you’re looking for a feed for both quail and cockerels with lower calcium you have a couple choices. The Poulin quick grow broiler and the Turkey/Gamebird grower finisher. Those are basically the same as your “all flock” products. I use the the meatbird for everything. I mix 50/50 with my Poulin layer crumbles for the quail.
Right now the quail I just hatched are on the poulin Turkey Gamebird starter 28%.
One of the best things about thePoulin feed is they use Yucca extract to prevent cocci versus other manufacturers use medicated feed.

Thanks!! This is really helpful!! I’ll have to see what other Poulin feeds my local store carries! Or if they don’t carry much more, I think there is actually another local store that carries it too. I remember I got the multiflock thing one time though and didn’t realize it was blue seal. So will have to ask next time. I have 3 boys right now but I also have a few senior girls that don’t really lay anymore either and I think 3-5 of the quail are boys so gotta find something that works for everyone haha although I might cull all the boys of both species
