They are sweet and are attracted to our chickens which are kept in enclosed runs. Our neighbor feeds them so they do come around a lot.

Yup. This photo was from a few months ago. She has 3 mostly grown babies left out of the original 10. We have mongoose here that keep the feral chicken population in check (also the reason there are SO MANY feral chickens on the Island of Kauai, they do not have mongoose there). I saw 4 mongoose in my neighbors yard the other day. The same food he puts out for the chickens attracts them too.
