Completely Amazed!

I have some jumbo coturnix I hatched out on 6/14/09 and today three of them layed an egg. That's on 39 days old and three of them are laying! That just blows my mind.

I haven't had jumbos lay that early, but my pharaoh-sized birds have done that. I had an A&M hen start laying at just under 5 weeks old.

They are in individual pens with 3 girls and a boy, so I know the eggs didn't come from anyone else.

I can't wait to get home today to see how many laid today.
