Completely new to this...

So I've never done this before, but I'm seriously interested in raising chickens for several reasons:

1. I love animals. Enough said.
2. Healthy eggs to eat for me, healthy lives for chickens to live!
3. Getting more in touch with the way my ancestors used to live.
4. A new challenge, with new stuff to learn.​

I really want to do this, and do this well. With that being said, I'm going to need lots of help. I've already browsed much of the resources on this site and decided it was time to join.

I hope to get to know the community!
