Computer Purchase Advice Please! UPDATE!

My nephews net book plays WOW fine so I would look at a higher end game to reference for gaming.

My puter (before the HD crashed that is) couldn't come close but DH's puter I designed (he put together) specifically to play WoW and his laptop also does fine. I thought it must be a big deal... but if those little netbooks can handle it... hmmm.

Anyone know something that's harder than WoW??

Comments say GTA4 is worse... WoW didn't even make the list. Yikes. GTA's SR say:

Oh and one more thing... we've got a HDMI TV for a monitor and LOVE IT... actually also have a regular one to make a duel screen... DH is spoiled what can I say... ours is a JVC and it's been great... anyone else have a recommendation for monitor?
