Computer virus

I have the Mac. Much easier to use features compared to a Dell. When we used a Dell we had Norton anti-virus software with limited success.

One of the reasons we got the Mac was the newer features and safer security.

WELL 2 weeks ago my hubby had a pop up stating you had a breach and needed to buy their security. When hubby clicked on it to Decline it took over. We had porn pop up on the screen! And the freaky little icon stayed at corner of screen.

He went to our Mac security site and read that this was a new type of threat and when you click or try to get rid of it , it just takes hold of your computer trying to sell you fake spyware so it can infect your computer!

Well the Mac had a way of getting rid of it in just a few moments and we have had no problems since. So other than that one time we've had a safe secure computer without purchasing a bunch of spyware.

Break down and buy Nod 32, from Esset Software. It is the best anti-virus software on the market, hands down. I have yet to see it fail to catch a virus and it uses very few resources. It is a great example of great programming.

You don't have a virus protection but something is scanning? Found a lot of them? Have you been on google images lately (seems to be an infected site)? Do you have a Mac? Is it new? Are there some gross links randomly popping up? Sorry... If so, I know a lot of people dealing with this now, including me, but it's easy to get off...

PM me!
