Concern about my Rhode Island Red

The eggs are safe to eat. Only with the use of certain drugs should you not eat the eggs.

Many of us have had troubles with our first flocks, myself included. We learn as we go and unfortuneatly illness in the flock can help us learn. Chickens dont come with a manual, I for one could have used one with my first flock. LOL

I am sorry you are experiencing these troubles.

You might keep her warm and inside or under heat at night. Sick birds get cold easily. If its warm during the day she can be out with the flock, heat at night.
