Concern for Comb infection

One of my chickens has a scab on her comb from being pecked. I noticed there is swelling localized around the scab site that is soft and warm. There is no bleeding or drainage. She is otherwise acting normally and looks healthy. Wondering the best way to care for this and treat what looks like early infection. …this is my first chicken ailment

It sounds as if she is healing normally. You may want to apply some antibiotic ointment to the affected area.
