Concerns about soil contamination

I already have one flock of 7 girls going good, and am getting ready for a second. I have a 10x10 shed on my property that just doesn't get used. My wife had the excellent idea of just cutting away the siding from the bottom half of the shed, and putting a platform in the top half, so that it's a coop upper and run lower setup. A project I could do in 4 hours and get back to things she needs me to do...

My only concern is that based on the floor boards I pulled out, I know that years of lawn equipment have been stored in there. I'm worried about gasoline and oil spills in the soil. Am I being paranoid? Will the chickens pick up contaminants that will impact their health or the content of the eggs? On a whim, I might do ducks instead of chickens in there - will the increased moisture make any contaminants leach up?

I tried finding a soil testing service for this kind of thing, but didn't see anything...
