Conditioning pens/show bird prep - Q&A

Greetings fellow breeders! With show season coming up, I though I'd ask what you all like to do/use for conditioning pens, bedding for your conditioning pens, how long before the show you start conditioning your birds, etc.

I'd love to hear everyone's ideas, and what you do for showing.

I'm going to be showing Old English Game bantams.

I was mainly looking for more - long term, pre-prep before a show.
