We ordered the All-heavy roosters to raise as meat birds. Of course they threw in the free exotic chick for us too -
All the cockerels arrived in 2's and 3's except for these two.


#1 - I think this one is a Spotted Sussex.


#2 - I suspect Dark Cornish but I could be wrong.

#1 is for sure a Speckled Sussex.

#2. NO CLUE!!! Give it some time, we'll figure it out!

#2 looks alot like the partridge Chentechlers I used to have, they started out very black. I'm not sure that's a common breed to find at a hatchery, but I could be wrong. Tyeyre a dual purpose breed so it would fit with a heavy assortment. Does it have a cushion comb?
