Confused about a dead chicken

Found a dead 5 month old chicken in my chicken yard. She had blood around one side of her mouth and there
were a few feathers on the ground. Will chickens bully other chickens to death?

It can happen, but generally they attack the rear end of the bird or back of the head causing significant damage. My gut reaction is that she was attacked by a hawk.

There wasn't a whole lot of feathers. Just a few dropped feathers and small trickle of blood.

She was also flat on her back wings spread out. Is that normal?

You may have disturbed it causing it to leave.

For a chicken that age if the others are the same age, none of them have even gotten aggressive yet, as the majority of their pecking is settled by who can stand the tallest, not who pecks the hardest. Also, if the flock mates did this by pecking, they wouldn't have stopped there, but would have proceeded to eat her. I'm strongly suggesting it was a predator, though if she was by the road, I would say she was hit by a car.
