Confused about temp on still air bator?

I have a little giant still air. Eggs should be here tomorrow from m@m@2four. My booklet says 99.5 to 100. But as I read about incubating on a few websites it says that the temp on the top of an egg should be 101-102 degrees. Which is it??? Please help you experts.

Yes, still air must run warmer at the top of the eggs, so that the bottom of them at floor level is cooler, and will average out, like a gradient. So, 101.5-102 is perfect.

Thanks! I will adjust it up a little. I have my thermometer sitting on a fake egg now to get the temp right. I'm so excited I haven't gotten anything done but daydream about my babies.
