Confused about the poop thing

Like some others I don’t bother with the compost step.
I put it direct onto the garden in the Fall. And by ‘it’ I mean some random mix of poop and bedding that I get by shoveling out some of the deep litter.
The only thing to avoid is fresh chicken manure on new seedlings as it will burn them.
It won’t burn established plants, and it won’t burn anything if left on the garden bed all winter.

Ditto. Although we do dump it in the compost if the garden beds are full. We also use the fresh soiled bedding in between our garden beds which prevents weeds from growing.
